PRODUCTS NEEDED:
AQUAPHOR (SQUEEZE TUBE)
DOVE SENSITIVE SKIN BAR SOAP
PAPER TOWELS
Remove your clear skin bandage in a clean environment after 24 hours.
If you recieved an alternative gauze bandage, remove it after 1 hour.
To remove the clear skin bandage, gently do so under running water to ensure it comes off as painlessly and easily as possible.
Be sure to immediately clean your tattoo once the bandage is removed. During the first initial wash it is essential to continue washing it gently, until no blood or excess ink remains on it's surface.
Wash your tattoo once a day.
Use only cool water, your hand, and mild, unscented soap. I only recommend Dove Sensitive Skin bar soap.
When drying your tattoo, remember to alwasy PAT dry, never rub, with single-use paper towels.
Immediately apply a thin layer of Aquaphor once clean and dry.
Use only enough to make the skin appear shiny.
Reapply the Aquaphor as often needed, once product has absorbed. You will know it has absorbed when the skin is no longer shiny.
There should never be a visible layer of Aquaphor. Using too much product will result in loss of ink.
DO NOT scratch or pick at your tattoo as it is healing.
Healing tattoos will flake, and itch, but do your best to leave it alone!
AVOID tight fitting clothing on the healing tattoo.
Allow your healing tattoo to breathe as much as possible.
If you need to cover your healing tattoo, (times such as sleeping at night, or working during the day) do so with very loose fitting, SOFT clothing.
DO NOT submerge your healing tattoo in water, such as a bath or swimming pool.
DO NOT expose your healing tattoo to UV rays. (sunlight or tanning bed)
